Posting for the benefit of the rest who wanted to go but didn't get to go. Instead, those who doesn't want to go got to go (I doubt there're none who didn't wanna go, lol.) Everything's similar to my blog. So yeah.
Day 1 in Japan.
Took a midnight flight on SQ (6th time on SQ and 5th time taking Economy, sat together with Suxuan and Elaine). Gee, it was a B777-200ER, all those old seats. I wanna try the new seats man, looks cool. Especially First Class :O The new First Class looks real wide. Business Class was nice, but I prefer the old Business Class (SkyBed) though. The new one feels kinda odd, at the handrests.
Supposedly this was taken on the last day. Lol, screw my face. I look so weird. & Heck care lah -__-"
Step-shaman, lol.
Lalala, food was okay but not up to satisfaction standard. Singapore Airlines could have done a lot better, y'know. Especially on the dessert because it tasted very weird, and a few people around me felt the same way too. So it's not about my appetite yo.
Watched 2 movies and slept for the rest of the flight. Breakfast was the only meal served apart from the appetisers and drinks on intervals. The fish was not that bad but the vegetables are kind of.. Soft/Overcooked.
Reached Fukuoka airport at around 8AM. Loaded baggages onto the bus and went off for Folk Museum. Visited the temple nearby too, because we was there early and it's not opened yet.
I like this picture!
Suxuan, drinking the water from some kind of well in the temple.
& I tried it too :D
Nabeh, standard of living so high. Dustbin also need to separate recyclable/non-recyclable. At home their dustbins also like that can!
NABEH! VENDING MACHINES ALSO SO STYLO. IDIOT.
I like this picture as well! It's the exit of the temple.
Some kind of, old public telephone with fine finishings. Lol.
This "model" (K, figure) of an old man was like, in a corner. I freaked out lor, I thought he was real and I squealed softly. Lol, damn retarded lah please.
Old ceramic/china utensils.
P/S: That man there is a real man! He's kind of old already, around his early 70s. He's weaving cloth, using the traditional way. Very beautiful lah, the way the machine moves and all. So cool please.
Was given free time to take pictures around the nearby places. There's a pond at the back of the museum, but I'm too lazy to go and I just sat there, looking at the old man weaving. I was a bit tired by that time though, cz I wasn't feeling well. And so I boarded the bus early.
And when Elaine and Suxuan came back...
They came back with this in their hands and it was so cool! I have never seen this before lah, lol. Not even in Sapporo where grandma lives. The usual ones I see in Sapporo is those with colors on the can, but not this 150ml one. And it just freaking costs 120Y lor. That's like, $1.50?
After that, we left for the AIBO Square! AIBO stands for Artificial Intelligent roBOts. There was bloody hell loads of robots there and I was pretty amazed, and so are the rest of the group. Some of the robots even put up a dance performance for us and it was so synchronized like as if they are humans!
Can you see them dancing? They're like making some kind of positions like those kind of, "Thousand-Hands Kwan Im" or something like that. Very nice from the front but there wasn't enough space so I had to stand at the side.
Something which looked like this on the screen:
And they are break-dancing here. Lol.
This robot bloody talks! In Japanese of course. I tried, conversing in Japanese with it. It's so cool lah please, you say "Onamae wa nan desuka?" and it goes "Watashiwa ______ (I forgot what it said it's name was) desu" Super chio and I hope I could have one for myself, so that I can talk to it about my problems and all. Ohmygod!
There's even a Hello Kitty one! And it receives its messages through the ribbon on the left side of Hello Kitty. HAHA DAMN CUTE PLEASE!
Tired of looking around etc, and bought 3 handphone straps in a very cute shape. Exclusively for TEN, one each :D After which, Suxuan, Waichin, Elaine and I went down and saw McDonald's! :D Mr Ng was with us too, with his bloody huge videocamcorder like as if he's some kind of news reporter.
And he treated us to McPork! I don't usually eat pork stuffs so I ordered for a cheeseburger instead. Grabbed a bite of McPork, and bloody hell the sauce tastes delicious k! And it's like what, 100Y only. Didn't take a picture of it. Zzz, I'll probably look for one from friends yo.
(FYI: McPork = You know Singapore's McDonald's the burger variety got McChicken, McSpicy etc right. There got McPork too!)
Fast forward crapping times, and went to Kumamoto Castle! I like the architecture finishings, like damn chio please. I wish I had a castle like that, and it shall be Hogwarts!
Isn't the roof, just sooooooo chio?!!?
(Ohyeah, speaking of Hogwarts. I think my house's bathroom has a Chamber of Secrets because while I was bathing, there's this really big group of ants crawling towards a certain corner of the bathroom. And they are all in a single file can! Maybe I shall try speaking Parseltongue to the sink, lol!)
K, back to topic.
The huge lake. Super chio and isn't it special because the lake is on grass instead of concrete or sand?!!?
The gate to the main buildings of the castle.
The high-high buildings. Gee, raise until so high for what -.- Like step fortress like that.
I looooooove this shot!
Simone with one of the guards. Lol, the guard damn funny.
The scenery from the top of the tower.
See! Mr Ng's camera is freaking huge right! He said that the total amount he spent on this bloody camera is SGD5000, like.. Ohmygod please. I hate rich people :(
Another view from the top of the tower. This shot kind of sucked.
WaiChin, with err.. Castle Ambassador? LOL!
Then by that time, it's already quite late. Like.. time pass very fast leh! So, we went to check-in into our hotels and it's free time for us. But we're not allowed to roam around the neighbourhood on our own lah, because the hotel is near the active volcano we're visiting the next day.
And on the bus ride to the hotel...
WaiChin lied on my shoulder to sleep. I was kind of shocked at first lah. I thought my bag dropped from the overhead storage area. Lol, his head is heavy k!
Checked-in, and lalala. Had dinner in the hotel, and it's free time! Intended to visit the hot spring at first. But since no one wanted to go with me, I didn't want to go on my own. (No one wanted to go because you have to be completely naked inside the hot spring. Gee! And that explains me wearing the robe k.)
So, Elaine and Suxuan came over to Waichin's and my room to play and chat. We played a lot lah! I even scared the girls with ghosts stories and they was so scared that they said something like, "Accompany us back to our rooms later". Lol, and at last we did.
When we were fooling around in the room with the pillows and blankets, Elaine took a shot of Suxuan wanting to beat me and me resisting her force. And it freaked Suxuan out :P
SEE SHE LOOKED LIKE A GHOST, LOL! FACELESS LEH!
And, that ended the first day in Japan :D
Day 2 in Japan.
Woke up very early, and looked out of the balcony :O It was freeeeeeeeeaking cold and I almost froze to death! The temperature at that morning was, around 13DC if I remembered correctly. *shrugs*
Empty swimming pool/jacuzzi?
Neighbours/Schoolmates!
Then had breakfast and started heading to Mt Aso. It's an active volcano by the way, so when we're up there.. Ah, k later then say :D
Took a cable car from the bottom of the volcano to the top, around the.. What's that called? Forgotten lah.
It was raining and I was trying to achieve this effect of the water droplets. Zzz, I failed.
The cable car went up, and up!
I like this picture!!! :D
Reached the top and it was so bloooody windy! It got very cold and I felt like as if I'm in antartica even though I got my jacket on me. Gee, I think it's the same for everyone. And it got so windy that...
Zeke's umbrella got inverted, HAHAHAHA!
Same goes for GuoXiong as well! This is worst lah! LOLLL!
Just look at how my hair is blown until! Sheesh! Stupid wind -.-
Figure 1.1 Figure 1.2
Ah, this is the thing I wanted to say. This picture taken near the "mouth" of the volcano (aiyah, the part where the molten and everything comes out when the volcano erupts k?). See those smokes? There's this greenish yellow liquid (Figure 1.1: Sulphur Dioxide if I didn't remember wrongly) at the bottom which is like, super hot producing these smokes. And those redred thingo (Figure 1.2), is caused by extreme heat on rocky surfaces by the molten.
(Woahsey, I like, step on professor. Lol! Still got figure numbers wor. HAHAHAHA!!!)
And, last picture before we head to some other places :D
Next stop was Kyushendo tunnel. It's a bloody dark place lah uh, so I can't be bothered to edit the contrast and brightness of the pictures I took in there. I didn't take much anyway, too dark -.-
On the way to the cave/tunnel, Fatin and Zul sang songs for us. Gee, a lot of people kena sabo'd to sing as well lah, including WaiChin and me. HAHAHAH the both of us sand Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars and Baba Black Sheep respectively. LOL!
The flowers at the gallery outside the cave/tunnel. Damn chio right!
The suuuuuuuuper long tunnel that leads to the dark, dark cave.
After the entourage around the cave, went to the nearby Edison Museum where it displayed several of Thomas Edison's works - which included the light bulb, gramophones, pinhole cameras and more.
This is the roofs of the museum. Damn unique right!
Cameras an pinholes.
The amazing light bulb! This one is huuuuuuge! Gramophone. This one is huge as well. Bigger than my face (like d'oh!)
Dinner in the hotel. And this time, I went into the hot spring, together with Nathish and Gary. The hot spring there different from the one in Sapporo leh! For this one right, the smell of the sulphur is heavier. Gee, like fart smell lor.
K, that's all :D Second day is so short, woaha.
Day 3 in Japan.
Early in the morning, went to the Tsuruda Junior High School! Was damn excited can. Gee, then needed to wait for a moment outside the school for the people to prepare everything and the reporters (Ohmygod.)
Then finally, we walked into the school :D
The people welcoming us.
Then headed straight to the hall for exchange programme and activities. Their school's I-don't-know-what's-that-called troupe performed this drum performance thingo. Damn cool I tell you. And as I was watching...
I realised that the middle girl looks like SeowTing and the right side girl looks like Shuyin. Lol.
After the drums was a showcase by the school's Kendo team. Woahpiang eh, when the sword hit the guy right, we Singaporeans was like, "Ohmygod!" Lol! It's damn cool I tell you, seriously.
Greeting/Bowing.
There, this one. Gee, damn scary I tell you.
THERE THIS ONE LAH! WAHLAU, THE SOUND ALSO, "PIAK!" WAHPIANG!
It then ended and it was the speeches. Nabeh, I was trembling like fuck and I quickly hid my hands under the script stand. LOL! & the most paisey thing is that: I FORGOT TO ON THE MIKE. IDIOT MUCH?!!?!??!
Sec 2s on our left side.
Sec 1s on our right side.
Then danced and everything, exchanged gifts and they folded this cranes thingo. 58 cranes I think, I forgotten how many they folded. But it's damn chio! I'm too lazy to take a picture though, lol.
Their classroom blackboard decorated to welcome us.
Had lunch in their classroom and it's damn cool lah! Everyone eats the same meal, same portion, and those pupils who are on duty to get the food has those kind of face masks, aprons, hats and gloves like as if they work in a hotel kitchen can. Lol!
And when everything ended, they sang songs for us :D Damn sweet please, like their songs more power than Singapore's choir lah! Some more every class sing one song, :'D I miss the school!
Then it was time to bid farewell. Gee, can't bear to leave please. They're like so hyper! I loooooooooove the Japanese students. Lol!
Headed to the Coca-Cola factory next. Boring, but the place there is damn chio. Was pretty amazed that producing a simple drink needs so many steps, like building some apartments like that. And their processing belt goes damn fast k!
Err, I don't know what I was doing also. Lol!
Retarded-s.
This lady is the guide. Nabeh, cannot take pictures in the factory wor. Bo bian.
Then there are pretty flowers outside the factory!
Everything ended and headed to Aeon Castle Mall. SHOPPING TIME! LOL, I only bought this black fedora hat :D Damn chio but expensive T____T Shouldn't have bought it please. With the amount of money, I can buy lots more lah!
Then had this buffet dinner. Woahhhhh first time eating sushi in Japan. Was expecting those quality one, but not much difference from Sakae Sushi what -__-" And after dinner, had a short walk outside the restaurant with a lot of people who had finished their dinner. Then there was this group of 14 year olds outside hanging around, and we made friends! :D
Nabeh, why my hair become like monkey one!
& that's that :D
Day 4 in Japan.
If I didn't remember wrongly, first stop was Space Center. Had to take a ferry to another island, gee. The bus went into the ferry as well! Lol, so cool.
I like this shot of Suxuan :O
I like this shot as well! Lol!
Then took a super long bus ride to the space museum from the ferry terminal. Reached there, got a tad bored :\ So we decided not to listen to the guide speaking. Instead, we went around on our own to take pictures :D
This is supposedly the thing to launch rockets.
Aiyah, this place I don't know what to blog about. It's damn boring, gee. So, next we headed to.. I forgotten where -.-" Fast forward, to the Shinkansen ride! Or in other words, bullet train :D
Heh, on that day, 5 of us wore pink unplanned :D
The Kumamoto station.
Finally I achieved this effect!!!!!!!!! Gee, not that well taken though :\
Then went to shop around Central Hakata and then went back to the hotel. Gee, not enough time to shop, so I bought a spongebob mirror for Jiahui's birthday and a pair of spectacles for myself :D
And in the shopping center...
IDIOT, VENDING MACHINES SELLING NEWSPAPERS. WAHLAU JAPAN VERY CREATIVE HOR?!?!?!?!

That's all. The fifth day was nothing much, really. Early in the morning went to airport liao, lol. K that's all byebye :D
